ADCE Special Awards

ADCE EUROPEAN STAR - JOHANNES NEWRKLA
All juries will vote to select the best work from across all disciplines to reward a project that reflects European values such as diversity and inclusion, freedom, justice and the promotion of peace.
ADCE GENIUS LOCI
All juries will vote to select the best work from across all disciplines to reward a project which reveals the spirit of a particular place within the exceptionally rich European cultural heritage.
ADCE GREEN STAR
All juries will vote to select the best work from across all disciplines to reward a work that promotes circular economy, sustainability or the protection of the environment.
ADCE EQUAL STAR
All juries will vote to select the best work from across all disciplines to reward a work that promotes inclusion, gender equality, fights all forms of discrimination and celebrates the creativity that overcomes stereotypes.

Global Creative Rankings

ADCE winners will be counted into the Global Creative Rankings run by The One Club for Creativity. Each winning entry will receive points based on the chart below.
NOTE: Only agencies based in the Europe region will be counted for ADCE rankings.

For 2023, the rankings will be determined based on the point values listed on this chart:

MULTIPLE AWARDS WITHIN A DISCIPLINE
When the same piece of work wins multiple awards within a Discipline, the points for the one highest award in that discipline will be counted.

AWARDS IN MULTIPLE DISCIPLINES
When the same piece of work wins awards in multiple Disciplines, the points for the highest award per discipline will be counted.

Agency Rankings

Points are only awarded to agencies listed as Primary and Secondary credits.
Points are divided equally among Primary and Secondary agencies listed under the following credit types:
Agency, Design Firm, Digital Agency, Internal / In-House Agency, PR / Marketing Agency
Agencies are ranked on the following lists:
Agency, Independent Agency, Brand-Side Agency
NOTE: Agencies must identify themselves as Independent and not part of a Holding Company when submitting their entries.

Client / Brand Rankings

Points are awarded to clients and brands whose agencies have garnered points for winning entries.
Clients and Brands are ranked on the following lists:
Brand, Non-Proft Client, Brand Parent Company

Production Company Rankings

Points are awarded to companies listed under the following credit types:
Production Company, Music / Sound Production Company
Production Companies are ranked on the following lists:
Production Company, Music & Sound Company
NOTE: Production houses within advertising agencies are not ranked.

Agency Network Rankings

Points are awarded to agency networks and holding companies whose agencies have garnered points for winning entries.
Agency networks are ranked on the following lists:
Agency Network, Independent Agency Network, Agency Holding Company
NOTE: Agencies must identify the Network and Holding Company they are part of when submitting their entries.

Creative Rankings

Individual creatives are ranked within each specific credit title as well as a full list of all individuals, regardless of title.
NOTE: If an individual is credited with a "custom title" they will not be ranked.
